About The Role

We're in search of a new position that will be part of our Events & Experiences team within our People organization, reporting to our Sr Manager of Events & Experiences Experience.

This team promotes belonging, ensuring operational excellence, and providing a seamless employee experience while creating memorable and meaningful connections through events that are both in-person and virtual. As a Senior Coordinator, you'll be supporting and maintaining the innovative experiences & gatherings to the Glassdoor community.

You will be responsible for the coordination of day-to-day event operations, travel coordination, and will work with a team of employees, many cross-functional partners, as well as, vendors, and contractors.

What You'll Do:

You have a passion for people, events and are comfortable being a strong mentor and advocate for your team. You're well versed in handling all types of personalities and are not fazed by last minute changes and pivots, in fact, you thrive under pressure and are excited by the challenge. You're detail-oriented, love a process and are always looking to improve. Lastly, you live and breathe best in class customer service and lead with positive energy.

  • Work collaboratively with employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Assist managers and coordinate ongoing logistics including but not limited to booking venues in various cities, tracking participants and communicating event info, ensuring payment is received, coordinating food & beverage services, hotel accommodations, and travel
  • Manage, operate, and ensure the success of event and experience programs including both virtual and in-person events, as well as employee gathering programs.
  • Manage and operate as a super-user within our event and experience saas platforms.
  • Research venues and vendors for event opportunities
  • Be a key partner to and customer of on-site managers and their teams to ensure on-site success for each event.
  • Be an employee experience advocate and a builder of employee-centric communities, all in the spirit of driving employee success and engagement across the globe.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2-3 years experience in events, marketing and/or promotions in a tech or related agency environment
  • Experience in a remote-first environment with an understanding of the organization required to bring teams together in person throughout the year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will interact with a wide variety of groups and individuals, including coworkers, management, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and the public.
  • Experience in tracking budget and expenses
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort using Zoom features like breakout rooms, polls, and webinars.
  • Commercial experience in Google suite
  • Ability to travel 15-20% for events and pre-event preparation.

Compensation And Benefits

Base salary range*: $73,050.00 - $97,019.00

  • Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.

Annual Bonus Target**: 10%

  • Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews

Generous Restricted Stock Units (RSU):

  • Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, RSU grant awards are presented bi-annually to exceptional performers.
