The Work

  • You’ll collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to systematically identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You’ll gather and analyze project documentation, conduct risk workshops, and leverage industry benchmarks to capture emerging and existing threats.
  • You’ll utilize structured methodologies to evaluate the probability and impact of identified risks, documenting findings in comprehensive risk registers.
  • You’ll support quantitative risk analysis using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity analysis.
  • You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans tailored to each project’s unique risk profile.
  • You’ll facilitate regular risk review meetings to update risk registers, prioritize action items, and ensure accountability for mitigation activities.
  • You’ll apply advanced statistical techniques to interpret project risk data and prepare clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports that highlight key risk indicators.
  • You’ll ensure alignment with established risk management frameworks, internal standards, and external regulatory requirements, and support governance documentation and audit activities.
  • You’ll lead continuous improvement efforts by evaluating current risk practices, integrating new tools or platforms, and promoting risk awareness across teams.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

$85,000 - $95,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Here's What You'll Need

  • Degree in engineering, business, construction management, or similar from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in meeting facilitation, data modeling, visualization, project risk analysis, project controls, or project management
  • Familiarity with project risk management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, ISO 31000, COSO)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and risk analysis tools such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Power BI

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience preparing dashboards and translating complex risk data for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and governance processes in large project environments
  • Familiarity with audit engagement and implementing corrective actions in response to findings
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to foster open communication across project teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a challenging environment
