Position Overview:

The Human Resources Intern will provide essential support to VP, HR, gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR functions within a fast-paced sports and stadium environment. This role offers exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, administrative operations, and more.

I AM NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT JUST WANTS TO FULFIL THEIR INTERNSHIP HOURS!

Pay is $8.00 per hour & Non Negotiable.

Must be able to work Game Days, which are Saturday evenings and some weekday evenings.

Must be able to work community events which maybe throughout the week in the evenings and Saturdays and Sundays!

RELOCATION NOT PROVIDED!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP of HR in recruitment efforts, including attending job fairs, posting roles externally, and creating recruiting materials.
  • Source candidates, conduct pre-screening interviews, and maintain applicant flow records.
  • Assist in managing the college internship program and maintain active job postings at partner universities.
  • Support new hire and intern orientation sessions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as electronic filing, scanning, data entry, and special projects.
  • Maintain and organize electronic employee personnel files.
  • Help plan and coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Collaborate closely with VP, HR on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to post jobs on social media sites and other means.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event demands
  • Must be able to work the assigned schedule without conflict

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Must be an enrolled college student
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general internet navigation
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
