Position: Human Resources Information Systems Assistant

Location: Washington, DC

Pay: $26/hour

Experience: At least two years of experience in recordkeeping, administrative assistant, or clerical roles. Prior human resources experience required.

Education: High School Diploma and two years of college or post–high school education (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Information Systems Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Perform data entry and updates in the human resources information system.
  • Process HR personnel actions and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support HR staff in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Generate reports and assist with HR data analysis as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including document preparation and record management.
  • Assist with onboarding, compliance, and other HR-related projects.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook).
  • Ability to quickly learn and use HR systems such as UKG or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
