The Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches is looking for a strategic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead HR operations across our Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach campuses. This is a fully on-site role (2–3 days at each location per week) with no remote or hybrid option.

This is a player-coach opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys both strategic planning and day-to-day HR execution. You’ll be the sole HR resource overseeing all HR functions for two vibrant community centers. The position reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with organizational leadership.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the organization’s primary HR leader across both campuses
- Manage all core HR functions, including:
- Employee relations and compliance
- Benefits and Workers’ Compensation
- Payroll coordination
- Talent acquisition and onboarding
- FMLA and leave management
- Training and professional development
- HR documentation and policy implementation
- Act as a trusted advisor during organizational changes or crisis situations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and HR best practices
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong generalist background across all key HR areas
- Working knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and payroll processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s or certification preferred)
- Salary: $100,000–$110,000
- Full Health Insurance
- 401(k) with 3% employer match
- Paid Time Off (based on years of service)
- 2 Personal Days per year
- All Jewish holidays off
