As a Human Resources Business Partner at Associa, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's success by providing strategic HR guidance and executing fundamental HR responsibilities. This role requires a proactive and solutions-oriented individual who can collaborate with all levels of the organization to drive a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct investigations, as needed, and provide resolution recommendations to maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist in the recruitment process.
- Conduct interviews, participate in candidate evaluations, and contribute to the onboarding process.
- Support managers in performance review processes, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
- Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Stay current on federal and state employment laws, ensuring company policies and practices are in compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Identify training needs within the organization and work with leadership to develop and implement relevant training programs.
- Support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- At least five years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, and organization design.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and managers. Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required.
- Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
- Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
