We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations at Jax Kar Wash. This role plays a vital part in ensuring an exceptional employee experience through efficient HR processes, compliance, employee relations, and program support. You’ll work closely with leadership and team members across locations, becoming a trusted point of contact for all things HR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs across multiple locations
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and assist with employee relations matters
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding processes
• Help manage benefits administration, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation cases
• Conduct internal audits and support regulatory reporting requirements
• Collaborate with managers to support performance management and team member development
• Guide and support managers through disciplinary actions, including documentation and compliance
• Participate in engagement initiatives and support company culture-building programs
• Contribute to HR-related communications, trainings, and documentation updates
• Support recruiting efforts as needed, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
• Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or coordinator role
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and/or Google Workspace
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed
  
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Role operates in both office and field environments across locations
• Requires sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
• Must be comfortable working with diverse teams and fast-paced operations
