Lone Star Corporation is hiring a full time reliable HR administrator for our Corporate Office. Admin will be responsible for performing the following HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with senior HR management.

Responsibilities
- Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approves invoices for payment and communicates benefits information to employees.
- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Maintains HR information system records and compiles reports from the database. Files and scans all records.
- Implements human resources programs by providing services including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits and records management.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Completes special projects; sets timetables and schedules; conducts research; develops and organizes information; fulfills transactions.
- Process and maintain records of regular deductions from employee payments including garnishing 401k, healthcare and other deductions as well as overseeing tax filings in accordance with local and federal law.
- Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Minimum 2 years HR experience
- Knowledge of employment law
- Excellent data entry skills
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in a timekeeping system
- Knowledge regarding payroll processing
- Knowledge in benefits administration
- Showing ability to work with confidential information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
