HR Generalist (Full-Time)
Columbia Orthopaedic Group (COG) is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in supporting our staff and keeping daily operations running smoothly. If you're passionate about people, process, and problem-solving—we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to for day-to-day HR support, answering employee questions and providing guidance with empathy and clarity
- Champion employee relations, conflict resolution, and culture support with a balanced, solutions-oriented approach
- Manage onboarding for new hires and ensure a seamless offboarding experience when employees transition out
- Process payroll accurately and on time—because payday happiness matters!
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and employee questions
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and internal policies
- Support HR projects and bring fresh ideas to enhance the employee experience
- An HR professional with 2–4 years of generalist experience (healthcare experience a plus!)
- Comfortable juggling priorities with grace and a sense of humor
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, especially with payroll and HRIS systems
- A clear communicator who knows when to listen, when to advise, and when to document
- You bring confidentiality, integrity, and a positive, “how can I help?” attitude to every conversation
