Job Summary
Administrative Support to the Director of Human Resources performing various duties for the Human Resources Department including but not limited to, copying, filing, creating and maintaining employee personnel files, assisting employees with non technical issues, and other administrative duties as requested by the HR Director.

Administrative Support to the Director of Human Resources performing various duties for the Human Resources Department including but not limited to, copying, filing, creating and maintaining employee personnel files, assisting employees with non technical issues, and other administrative duties as requested by the HR Director.

- Coordinates with newly hired employees to complete preliminary new hire paperwork and collect documentation (including I-9 documents, licenses, certificates, etc.) per company policy. Ensures that all forms are properly completed and follows-up on missing items daily.
- Verifies references as requested.
- Takes picture of newly hired employee and creates company badge; orders and maintains supply of badge materials.
- Creates and maintains 6-part personnel files and 2-part medical files.
- Responds to outside employers' request for copies of background screening requirements and employment verifications.
- Responds to employee requests for copies of information from their personnel files.
- Updates and posts job openings for internal applicants twice a week.
- Responds to employees and departments regarding a variety of Human Resource matters.
- Schedules interview appointments for Human Resources Director and other Directors as requested.
- Contacts benefit eligible employees to obtain insurance enrollment or waiver.
- Periodically audits personnel files to ensure that required items are in file.
- Assists in tracking healthcare industry requirements (i.e., criminal history, TB tests, licenses, certifications, and follows up on missing items.
- Maintains and updates employee bulletin boards.
- Sorts department mail.
- Orders department supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
