Duties and Responsibilities
New Maurifoods Ltd, a company of the Eclosia Group, is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer . The Health & Safety Officer will report directly to the HR Operations Manager with a dotted-line reporting to the Group Safety & Health Manager and will provide day-to-day support across a range of H&S functions

The Health & Safety Officer will report directly to the HR Operations Manager with a dotted-line reporting to the Group Safety & Health Manager and will provide day-to-day support across a range of H&S functions
- Develops and implements the company’s health and safety goals in alignment with the Group strategies and legal requirements
- Conducts Occupational Safety & Health risk assessments, inspections & audits, at regular intervals, to identify risks to and propose appropriate mitigation measures to safeguard the safety & health of employees and other stakeholders
- Implements appropriate training programmes including hazard management, accident investigation, manual handling, fire safety, first aid, emergency response training, etc. and keeps proper records thereof
- Investigates and reports on all serious/critical personal injuries/accidents/hazardous conditions occurring at the workplace
- Works out on the monthly Health & Safety reports to be presented to Management Team & Group Safety & Health Manager
