The Health Center Manager (HCM) is a Team Leader and a proponent for change management! They ensure a patient-centered service model by creating an environment that promotes responsive service delivery. They supervise unlicensed staff and serve as the administrative supervisor for Clinicians. They lead change initiatives to ensure PPSAT is compliant and able to compete in the changing healthcare environment. The Health Center Manger works with Director of Patient Services to ensure that operations, medical compliance, and financial position are compliant with established processes and protocols of all health centers within the designated mission of the agency. The HCM holds health center staff accountable to specific measurable customer service standards and compliance with PPSAT medical, administrative and security protocols.

Position Details
Location: On-site: Fayetteville Health Center
Schedule: Full time Tuesday-Saturday 40 hours per week | work hours:
Tuesday: 7:30AM-5PM
Wednesday: 9:30AM-4:30PM
Thursday: 11AM- 6:30PM
Friday: 8:30AM-3:30PM
Saturday: 7:30AM-5PM
All staff are expected to remain at the health center until all patients are checked out, documentation is completed, and the health center is cleaned.
What You'll Do: (but not limited to)
PPSAT is committed to equitable and transparent pay practices. This position is placed within our established pay structure, with an annual salary range of $61,900.00 to $77,400.00. Starting salary will be determined based on your experience and internal equity.

What You'll Do: (but not limited to)
- The Health Center Manager provides day to day leadership to support the operations of health center services.
- Responsible for staffing center effectively by hiring, coaching, and training staff to provide all clinic services per their job descriptions. Monitor and evaluate staff and volunteers in their daily performance. Responsible for corrective action of staff, if needed.
- Ensure a client-centered service model by creating an environment that promotes responsive service delivery
- Facilitate regular staff meetings to support communications, deliver training, and ensure compliance with PPSAT policies and administrative processes.
- Provide ongoing feedback that recognizes, identifies, and supports when improvement is recommended and when excellence is achieved to team members regarding productivity, quality of patient care, operational assessment, customer service and teamwork.
- Participate in annual budgeting process based on established goals and objectives and monitor revenue cycle goals.
- Responsible for financial management of the health center. Monitor monthly financial statements and client visits. Manage revenue, expenses, and staffing to ensure successful operations and financial stability. Accountable for daily reconciliation and submission of deposits and logs.
- Responsible for effective use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) including oversight of staff usage, coordination of training, and patient flow.
- Implement health center and staff schedules to optimize staffing levels and patient flow to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care in collaboration with Regional Director and Clinical Team.
- Accountable for documentation and statistical reports. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversee ordering and accuracy of inventory for medical supplies, contraceptive supplies, and office supplies for the health center.
- Promote strong community presence in designated area as a PPSAT representative to identify community leaders and to promote the agency as a provider of education, information, and health services. Create partnerships with community organizations that can help PPSAT tailor education or clinical services to meet the needs of specific populations.
- In coordination with the Security and Facilities team, ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees, volunteers, patients, and visitors. Conduct regular trainings and drills related to security risks. Assist with maintenance of security systems, cameras, and recording devices.
- Assist with the coordination of research activities related to clinic procedures, clinic flow, and oversight of health center staff who recruit and/or screen participants as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with state specific regulations and applicable laws including but not limited to mandatory consent and ultrasound requirements.
- Ensure lab staff and staff trained in ultrasound are privileged accordingly and receive annual competency testing.
- Participate in the Risk and Quality Management (RQM) program to ensure high quality, efficient, customer-driven service delivery, following approved protocols and health center practices. Participate in monitoring compliance of RQM activities, including required orientation and training as needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with PPSAT medical protocols and administrative procedures, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations. Submit audit data when assigned; ensure the health center meets agency Quality Assurance requirements.
- Serve as Laboratory Manager under supervision of Laboratory Director: ensure lab testing personnel are appropriately trained, receive competency evaluations, and participate in proficiency testing as required; oversee all laboratory quality control requirements.
- If trained as testing personnel: collect and prepare laboratory specimens; maintain/check laboratory instruments; perform laboratory-related quality controls; order and result laboratory tests in the medical record; draw blood; dispose of contaminated supplies; perform and interpret in-house laboratory tests; participate in competency and proficiency requirements based on laboratory testing performed; demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Ensure staff trained in ultrasound are privileged accordingly and receive annual skills assessment.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Experience managing or working within a healthcare environment, especially women's health.
- B.A. in related field with 2-4 years of program management experience.
- Or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
