Job Summary
The Head of HR, North America plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business goals across the USA and Canada. Reporting to the Global HR Vice President, this position partners with senior leadership to deliver talent management, employee engagement, and workforce development solutions tailored to regional and local needs.
Based in Miramar, FL, this role manages HR operations for key facilities, including our Distribution Centers in Southaven, MS, and Ontario, Canada, and the Remanufacturing Facility in Spartanburg, SC, while leading a talented team of HR professionals. This is a unique opportunity to shape organizational culture and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and promote a high-performance culture.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering trust, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention strategies that meet organizational needs and market trends.
- Employee Engagement: Champion initiatives that enhance inclusion, recognition, and alignment with company values, creating a workplace where employees thrive.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations across North America, mitigating risks and maintaining ethical standards.
- Innovation: Lead digital transformation projects to optimize HR systems and workflows, leveraging technology for operational efficiency.
- Global Collaboration: Represent North America in global HR initiatives and multidisciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience:
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, including 4+ years managing multiple locations or regions.
- Proven success in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
- Multinational organization experience with expertise in regional and global HR processes.
- Certifications: SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Familiarity with AI and process automation tools for HR.
- Fluent in English; Spanish fluency is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage across all organizational levels.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to operational excellence
