GSE New Grad

BRPH is looking for a Early Career/ New Grad for our Ground Support Equipment team. The New Grad/Early Career Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineer will assist with the development of space vehicle processing and launch operations ground support equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing tooling / fixtures for vehicles of any type.
• Requirements Development or Systems Engineering.
• 1-2 years of CAD - Creo or other solid modeling software.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Demonstrated good communication through PowerPoint and Excel.
• Interface control documents.
• Importing and/or transferring large CAD components and assemblies.
• Sizing and selection of appropriate hardware for loads.
• Sizing and selection of appropriate standard componentry (casters, bearings, latches) for usage.
• Seeing a project through from conceptual phase though design to test and usage
  
  
  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Ability to create a Free Body Diagram and calculating static reaction loading.
• BS in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace, Civil or Systems Engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen for ITAR compliance.
