Groups/Classes & Connections Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

This role at our Jupiter location not only gets to champion the Welcome Home experience from the street through The Journey but also gets to promote a healthy Groups environment. This Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level leadership to campus Connections Teams as well as providing oversight and growth to Groups and their leadership at the Jupiter location.

JOB DUTIES:

GROUPS:

• Assist with the execution of Central Groups & Classes vision and strategy to create environments where people can grow in their relationship with God and others.
• Group & Class Leadership (Coaches, Group Leaders, Class Table Leaders, and Room Hosts)
• Select, Equip, Relate, Validate and Empower a team of volunteers through training, events or one-on-one coaching.
• Plan and lead consistent Interest, Onboarding, Orientation, Training and Appreciation opportunities for existing and future volunteers.
• Collaboratively promote both virtual and in-person Groups and Classes through Connect Weekends, Journey, Events, and Weekend Lobby times.
• Maintain the accuracy of all data and follow-ups in our relationship management system for Groups and Classes at your location.
  

CONNECTIONS:

• Create the Welcome Home experience for all weekend services and campus events by leading all Host Team volunteers and leaders each weekend, as well as the Connections Team Orientation for volunteer training throughout the year. With an emphasis on our first-time family experience and concierge team.
• Champion the 'The Journey' and 'Dream Team Kickoff' environment at the campus by scheduling the class, facilitators, and building volunteer teams, while reporting data for class participants and serving interests to the proper channels and follow up to ensure timely touch points.
• Working closely with the Central Director of Connections and campus ministry leaders to effectively lead a cohesive follow up strategy at the campus for first connects, first time families, interest forms, salvations, etc.
• Working cross-departmentally with the Multi-Site team, Engagement Team and Events team to execute our Connections strategy for church-wide events such as Easter, Christmas, Amazing, Diesel, etc.
  
  

EDUCATION:

A college degree, preferably in a ministry-related area.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of ministry experience.
