Job Overview

Winn Underground Services LLC is seeking motivated and dependable Ground Hands to support our Field Operations team. As a Ground Hand, you will work closely with Drill Operators, Locators, and other crew members to assist with underground drilling and utility projects. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to join the construction industry, gain hands-on experience, and grow with a rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of job sites.
• Support drill operators and locators in daily tasks.
• Handle and organize tools, materials, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards to the supervisor.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for underground construction work.
• Assist with equipment inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• No prior experience required-paid training provided.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus, but not required).
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
