Production Graphic Designer

Poetic is looking for a talented production graphic designer to join our team and support our creative department. For over a decade, we've helped clients set new industry standards. Our in-house capabilities allow us to partner with clients from brand conception to digital application and beyond. This position will support the branding and creative team to bring ideas to life visually. Through your work, you will get exposure to the entire brand development lifecycle, as well as work on creative applications across digital and print mediums for exciting clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Production Graphic Designer must be a solution-oriented and organized individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop artistic and professional skills. Primary responsibilities include the production design of brand concepts, digital marketing advertising, and print collateral. As a member of the creative team, you will also be involved in brand concept ideation and creation under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while delivering on key deadlines.
• Ability to concept and collaborate with internal teams.
• Able to take conceptual direction, build upon it with your personal touch, and deliver multiple versions of the application.
• Ability to understand brand strategy and user personas and design intentionally for that target audience.
• Strong understanding of color, typography, and layout.
• Strong written/grammar skills to edit/revise/proofread copy.
• Baseline understanding of print, digital and social media design best practices.

• Excellent eye for design, colors, and basic knowledge of design principles/hierarchy.
• Deep expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Open to constructive criticism and feedback.

• Ability to produce excellent work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Education & Experience

• Has a degree or relevant experience in Graphic Design, or a related field.
