Description
Join our team of IT professionals who help support the successful and smooth implementation of gameday processes for home games of the Oklahoma City Thunder! In the fast-paced world of sports and entertainment, the show must go on and IT is instrumental in making that happen. As a Gameday IT Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless setup, testing, and proactive maintenance of NBA game technology.
In this role you will:
This is a part-time position reporting to the Director, Information Technology. The work schedule will be, approximately 20 hours per week with setup and testing typically starting at 3pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends for home games. The schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays and extended hours as needed. Physical requirements of the job may include lifting approximately 50 pounds, crouching and climbing. The primary work location is the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Must have valid driver’s license and transportation.

As a Gameday IT Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless setup, testing, and proactive maintenance of NBA game technology.
In this role you will:
- Setup, troubleshoot, and maintain NBA game and IT systems for all Thunder home games
- Follow established procedures to configure and test technology systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring critical backups are available and functional
- Document work performed and submit post-game reports as required
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external group
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, computer hardware, and software
- Experience with installing and maintaining computers, cabling, and A/V equipment
- Basic understanding of networking and printing concepts
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to remain engaged and attentive throughout live events, responding quickly to changing needs
- Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple departments
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
