Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network security, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance to support business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security best practices.

Essential Job Functions
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Monitor network performance, security, and availability, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency
- Troubleshoot network issues, resolve outages, and ensure minimal downtime
- Manage and configure VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networks for secure and efficient connectivity
- Maintain network security by implementing and enforcing policies, firewalls, and access controls
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to support infrastructure needs
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in network security and administration
- Interact with hardware, software, and Internet Service Providers to facilitate repairs of networking hardware and voice and data networks
- Utilize our ticketing system to manage and respond to trouble tickets and requests submitted by staff or other I.T. team members
- Other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with network security and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Aruba, or other similar networking equipment
- Experience with cloud networking platforms such as Azure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.) are a plus
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
- Windows and Mac desktop support
- iOS and Android Device Support
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Microsoft Power BI
- Eager to serve on a team with staff members
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Eager to grow in skillset
- Initiates well on their own and can work well on their own

- Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Kids Ministry
- Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
