Finishing Assistant

Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Finishing Assistant for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. This will be a 3/2 rotating night shift schedule from 7pm-7am: Sun/Wed/Thurs; Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat. Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot equipment problems, make adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean/safe work environment and accomplish accurate computer entries. Keep up with all needed supplies for Robots. Must perform these tasks in a manner which is safe, productive and which contributes to the goals of the production department Minimum Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 81.5 pounds with frequent weights of 42 pounds. Must be able to work while bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to read and apply information provided in a written manner or via computer. Must be able to use small hand tools to make fine adjustments. Possess general mechanical knowledge.
