As a Financial Analyst, FP&A, you’ll serve as a trusted resource to senior leadership, providing critical financial insight and analysis that helps shape the direction of the business. No two days look the same — you’ll flex your analytical muscle, collaborate cross-functionally, and learn from some of the best in the industry.

The Perks
At Savant, we are committed to supporting our employees as well as investing in their well-being and growth. We take a market-based approach to compensation. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $86,000 - $125,500. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits.

What You’ll Do
As a Financial Analyst, FP&A, you’ll serve as a trusted resource to senior leadership, providing critical financial insight and analysis that helps shape the direction of the business. No two days look the same — you’ll flex your analytical muscle, collaborate cross-functionally, and learn from some of the best in the industry.
Your Days May Include
- Preparing clear, data-driven reports and performance dashboards that guide strategic decision-making.
- Partnering with senior analysts and finance leaders on board-level reporting and financial modeling.
- Supporting incentive plan calculations, forecasting, and accruals with precision and transparency.
- Maintaining and enhancing financial reporting systems, building predictive analytics, and working with large, complex datasets.
- Contributing to annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Supporting acquisition integrations, earnout analyses, and post-close results.
- Assisting with cost allocation analysis across business units to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Collaborating with the Controller, CFO, and Executive Management on special projects and ad hoc analysis that influence strategic priorities.
A couple things to note about our FP&A Analyst position:
- Location: This position has the flexibility to work out of our Rockford, IL headquarters, our office in Lincolnshire, IL, or our Downtown Chicago office, located at 200. W. Madison Ave.
- Work Model: Initially we will expect more in-office time, but once you're fully up and running, we will discuss the potential for you to work in our hybrid model of 3 days in office and 2 from home.
- Typical Hours: Standard business hours with flexibility based on business needs. At month end and quarter end, some overtime may be required and can come closer to 50 hours weekly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred).
- 2+ years of progressive FP&A or Financial Analyst experience — ideally within financial services, investments, or a fast-paced professional services firm.
- Mastery of Excel and comfort working with large datasets.
- Experience building and working with financial models and performance reports.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level FP&A tools (Workday Adaptive Planning or Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus).
- A curious, self-starting mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to analyze; you spot opportunities and dive in.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into business impact.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a drive for accuracy in everything you do.
