Job Summary:
Meyer Corporation, U.S. and its subsidiaries are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support and enhance business performance through comprehensive financial analysis and review of operational results. This position plays a key role in delivering actionable insights by working closely with all business units across the organization. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Job Duties:
- Coordinate and verify all data transfers among the company’s databases in a timely and accurate manner; take corrective action if discrepancies arise.
- Monitor and validate the integrity of all financial reporting systems used across the company.
- Review and support the input of annual cost center budgets entered by managers into NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).
- Generate monthly managerial reports required by internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, and relevance.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Create and maintain brand-level P&Ls and associated metrics.
- Track the EBIT driver metrics for functional and Brand teams.
- Develop and maintain statistical analyses and trend reports to support operational, and financial decision-making.
- Support the development and coordination of the company’s annual planning process.
- Assist with the compilation of financial projections and forecasts.
- Cross-train departments on financial systems usage, Excel templates, and report tools.
- Maintain and update the departmental procedures to reflect current processes and systems.
- Ability to build ad hoc reports and financial models on an as-needed basis.
- Ability to communicate on Slack, phone, Zoom, and in person.
- Assist Accounting with Audits as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Finance and Vice President of Finance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Requires 2+ years of experience in a Finance or equivalent field.
- Loves to ask the why, who, when, and where questions and determine the answers.
- Experience working with multiple business units or subsidiaries is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite is required.
- Experience with NSAW (Data Warehouse), NSPB (or equivalent), Tableau, and Power Bi is a plus.
- Must possess an advanced knowledge in spreadsheet programs, Excel and Google Sheets. This includes pivot tables, indexing, if/then statements, lookup statements.
- Must possess advanced knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Thorough knowledge of how to read and prepare a financial statement and balance sheet.
- Should be able to work well under pressure, work independently, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Ensure the accuracy of all workpapers.
Working Conditions:
This position is hybrid and will consist of an indoor office environment with standard artificial lighting. The role requires regular use of typical office equipment, including a computer, telephone, printer, etc. Physical requirements include prolonged computer use, extended periods of sitting, repetitive hand movements, occasional walking and standing, and the ability to lift items up to 25 pounds. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
$68,640 to $88,000, DOE
