Primary Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to analyze financial data by:

  • Collecting and monitoring financial data to support valuation models
  • Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
  • Capable of performing detailed financial analysis including advanced financial modeling, profitability analysis, return on investment/discounted cash flow analysis, monitoring business issues and impact to bottom line.
  • Identify trends while assisting with annual and quarterly forecasting. Also research industry trends, competitors, etc. as necessary.
  • Data mining and data entry used to support all financial reporting needs.
  • Assist and prepare quarterly financial reports and business plans
  • Maintain a variety of business records and documents

This person will analyze and interpret data in order to:

  • Provide trends and forecasting
  • Make comparative analyses of actual financial performance to expectations.
  • Recommend actions to management in regards to business valuations, auditing, and improvements to financial performance.
  • Assemble spreadsheets and presentations regarding financial performance metrics and business planning projections.

Primary Skills & Requirements

  • 2+ year experience; insurance experience a plus
  • Experience and Knowledge in several functions within Finance (Budgeting, Performance Reporting and Financial Analysis)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial, self motivated attitude.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment.
  • Courses in business, economics, accounting and a foundation knowledge in math
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Adobe
