About the Role

Ontra is seeking a Financial Analyst reporting to our Director, FP&A.

We're looking for someone excited to spearhead the management of dynamic variable compensation plans for our Sales and Customer Success teams, deliver compelling financial and management reports, and collaborate with the FP&A team to drive forward-thinking strategic analyses that propel business growth and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Variable Compensation Management: Own calculation and delivery of variable compensation plans across Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Compensation Plans Mastery: Gain a deep understanding of Ontra's variable compensation plans and related metrics.
  • Monthly Reporting: Take over ownership of monthly calculation, review, and delivery of final compensation reports to stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist in the preparation of regular financial and management reporting deliverables, including board and investor reports.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis Support: Assist the FP&A team in completing ad hoc analyses that support strategic initiatives within the finance team and cross-functionally.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in early or growth stage technology companies; prior experience working with commissions/variable compensation is a plus
  • Data Analysis: Comfort analyzing and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Financial Modeling: Basic three statement financial modeling experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly.

Pay Transparency

Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.

Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.

Base Pay Range

$77,000—$108,000 USD
