Finance Manager, IC, Ring Finance

Description

Ring is looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst to support the topline financial planning, budgeting and analysis as well provide business insights for contra-revenue efficiency initiatives. Become part of Ring’s growth story and show your finance expertise in a hands-on environment. In your role you will be a business partner to sales and category teams in North America. You will work closely with all department heads, finance counterparts as well as Amazon stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Data driven reporting and analysis to create meaningful insights to sales and unit demand planning for strategic planning, business improvements and promotion strategy.
• Deliver and improve forecasts for financial and non-financial metrics
• Work with other functions - especially sales, marketing and category - to analyze and improve sales performance and profitability
• Save guard ROI of investments and promotions
• Proactive management of department budgets
• Managing various Finance & Accounting projects
• Weekly trend analysis of ASP and Profit per unit

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
