The Role

As a member of AMD’s Finance organization, you will provide dedicated financial support to the Channel Revenue team. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Operations, and IT. You will play a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, driving financial reporting excellence, and supporting continuous process improvements that enable AMD’s growth and success.

You are a proactive, results-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and bring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to your work. With experience using financial systems and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, you are adaptable, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality financial insights that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Channel Revenue reconciliation process
  • Support AMD revenue consolidation activities and reporting including accurate accounting and reporting of Distribution revenue close
  • Support financial modeling for Distribution
  • Support Revenue Team role in IT/Finance Roadmap projects
  • Proactively drive for accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP
  • Proactively drive for continuous revenue finance process improvement and communications
  • Help drive alignment with Regional Finance and Distribution Ops team on revenue process and reporting
  • Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, projects on requests




Preferred Experience

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, strong spreadsheet skills (MS Office), able to quickly and accurately manipulate large amounts of data
  • Understanding of financial statements and external reporting requirements.
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • SOX knowledge is a plus




Academic Credentials

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance related field
  • CPA candidate is a plus
