The purpose of the Differential Response-Path One (DR-Path One) program is to prevent child abuse and neglect by engaging a greater number of families in services, specifically at Family Resource Centers (FRCs), to prevent the unnecessary separation of families by identifying family needs and assisting families in addressing challenges and stressors. Early identification of needs and implementation of FRC services will, in turn, promote the family's ability to become self-sufficient, enhance the well-being families and their children, and prevent child welfare intervention.
The DR-Path One Family Support Advocate is responsible for serving all DR-Path One Family Support Services referrals. Services shall include, but not be limited to: assessing family strengths and needs; linkages to resources; case planning; communicating applicable case-related information to SSA staff, as requested; compiling and maintaining records; preparing reports; presenting cases at MDT meetings; completing FaCT designated measurement tools and entering all required data into DRTS, or similar data tracking system and the FaCT database, and attending all required FaCT meetings and trainings.

Job Responsibilities
- Support effective coordination of services among service providers.
- Promote knowledge of and provide linkages to resources, services, and opportunities to improve self-sufficiency and
- Support families in following through with recommended services.
- Attend MDT meetings, present cases at MDT meetings, track all outreach efforts, and coordinate and communicate with the FRC Coordinator and MDT members.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Administer all AFK and FaCT-approved measurement tools.
- Data entry into DRTS, or similar system, the FaCT database, and Welligent.
- Maintains confidentiality in matters of agency operations, personnel, and clients.
- Maintains positive communications with all clients, agency and FRC staff and supervisors, partners, funders, volunteers, interns, and visitors.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Maintain files, logs, and other records in audit condition as required by agency or funder.
- Support agency initiatives related to Trauma Informed, Resilience-Oriented Care (TIROC) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
- Exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
- Supports existing agency policies, principles, mission, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) protocols.
- Weekly schedule includes evenings and some weekends.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Option One: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field from an accredited university.
- Option Two:A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing direct services to the target population.
- Proficiency in English is required, and bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese, based on community language needs, is required.
- Capable of relating well to individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, varied incomes, and education levels.
- Knowledge of public and private social services agencies Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
