This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking. You'll maintain our physical spaces with precision while collaborating with vendors to enhance our campus capabilities. Your proactive approach will prevent disruptions before they occur, creating seamless experiences for students and staff alike.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Execute comprehensive maintenance protocols across all campus facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards that exceed expectations
- Perform skilled repairs for minor issues while strategically managing vendor relationships for complex maintenance requirements
- Conduct thorough inspections of critical building systems including fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure
- Resolve technical challenges across our digital ecosystem, from network connectivity to hardware troubleshooting and warranty coordination
- Implement preventative maintenance strategies that identify potential issues before they impact educational operations
- Standard janitorial or cleaning duties—your expertise is focused on systems maintenance and optimization
- Reactive problem management—we expect proactive identification and resolution of potential issues
- Attempting complex repairs beyond your expertise without proper vendor support—we value sound judgment and resource optimization

Basic Requirements
- Commitment to working on-site at our Miami, FL campus (relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates)
- Demonstrated proficiency in executing minor repairs across multiple systems (plumbing, hardware, walls, electrical fixtures)
- Proven experience in vendor management, including soliciting and evaluating repair quotes for optimal value
- Verifiable track record conducting thorough facility inspections across critical building systems
- Technical troubleshooting capabilities for network connectivity, device functionality, and hardware issues
- Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
