JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant
LOCATION: Cambridge, MA
REPORTS TO: Executive Director, Head of Program Management
SALARY RANGE: $106,000 to $130,000
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Executive Assistant is a newly created role at Aurion Biotech, providing high-level support across a range of key functions. Serving as executive assistant, meeting planner, website administrator, conference coordinator, and internal communications lead, this individual plays a central role in ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the Executive Director, Head of Program Management, the Executive Assistant is proactive and highly organized, with a strong ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and execute tasks efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-level administrative support to executives, including managing complex calendars, travel, and expense reporting
- Maintain awareness of leadership priorities, whereabouts, and upcoming commitments to ensure seamless coordination and proactive scheduling adjustments
- Coordinate scheduling, contracts, and reimbursements for KOL, investigator, and consultant engagements
- Lead planning and logistics for company meetings, town halls, and offsites, including vendor management, venue selection, catering, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate logistics and sponsorship activities for scientific and industry events, including company participation, conference registrations, and meeting needs.
- Manage relationships with website vendors and consultants to ensure content is timely, accurate, and aligned with Aurion’s external communication strategy
- Proactively identify opportunities to minimize executives’ time spent on administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 6+ years of related experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience in a startup biotech environment is highly preferred
- Meeting planning in corporate environment required
- Experience in managing vendors required
