Position Overview:
We are seeking an Event Manager to join HeyGen's Community & Education team to play a pivotal role in shaping our events execution and strategy. The position will focus on supporting community-led events and producing high-quality events in-person, virtually and hybrid. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of firsthand event production experience and be comfortable managing logistics for a variety of initiatives across HeyGen teams.
This is a dynamic role requiring flexibility, creativity and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally to produce engaging and impactful experiences. You'll work closely with HeyGen leadership, Marketing, Sales and Community teams to ensure HeyGen events drive meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract rate $60-$70/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person, virtual and hybrid events including workshops, meetups, webinars, and conferences. Develop detailed event timelines, budgets and logistics plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community event organizers and ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Marketing, Sales and Partnerships to execute engaging programming aligned with team objectives and drive event promotion logistics.
- Source, negotiate and manage relationships with venues, vendors and other service providers. Oversee contractors, ensure deliverables, and manage on-site event production and breakdown.
- Track registration metrics and post-event surveys to implement strategies that optimize attendance, engagement and scale.
- Be willing to travel up to 50% of the time as required for event site visits, vendor meetings, and on-site support for in-person events
- 3+ years of firsthand experience producing events, ideally within a SaaS, tech, or startup environment.
- Proven track record of executing both in-person and virtual events including community meetups, webinars and/or conferences.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events, budgets and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to brief internal teams, vendors, and speakers effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Nice to have:
- Demonstrated ability to engage and support user communities, ambassadors or advocates.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships.
- Strategic mindset for aligning events with broader marketing and business goals.
