JTE Drywall and Paint is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Estimator to take the lead on drywall and paint project bids while actively supporting field communication and project execution. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with industry experience and a passion for both numbers and teamwork. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for drywall and paint projects
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to create takeoffs and proposals
• Communicate clearly with field workers to ensure alignment between estimating and execution
• Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to source pricing and timelines
• Track project opportunities, bids, and success rates
• Assist in managing awarded projects from estimate to handoff and completion
• Stay updated on market pricing, construction trends, and labor costs
• Represent JTE Drywall and Paint professionally to clients and partners
• Maintain documentation and organize estimate files for easy tracking and review
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in drywall and/or paint estimating preferred
• Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and materials
• Excellent communication skills, especially with field crews and subcontractors
• Positive attitude and a collaborative, team-first mentality
• Self-starter who is motivated by growth and performance
• Proficient with estimating software, spreadsheets, and reading blueprints
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
