Position Description
An Environmental Services Specialist/Customer Service Rep at SET Environmental is responsible to:
- Prepare paperwork and coordinate daily field service and transportation jobs
- Help coordinate emergency responses with other SET departments
- Provide waste profiling, manifesting and management
- Provide disposal site pricing to sales department
- Assist in qualifying incoming leads and direct to appropriate salesperson
- Make sure customer needs/calls are attended to as quickly as possible
- Perform daily customer service responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales department, supplying them with creative transportation and disposal options
- Recommend potential services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
- Work cooperatively with operational groups
- Work closely/cooperatively with designated sales representative(s)
- Perform any other miscellaneous duties as necessary
- 2-year degree, preferably in a science field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years working in a customer service role, preferable within the environmental industry
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Proven self-starter, highly motivated, sets aggressive goals
- Ability to effectively multi-task while managing a heavy workload
- Must be detail orientated
