We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented early career professional to join our Water & Natural Resources department in the New Haven, CT office. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of technical specialists to deliver and design diverse water resources projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop construction design plans for water resource projects such as flood control systems, river design, culverts, bridges, and dam spillway sizing/repair.
- Assist in designing green stormwater infrastructure and stream restoration projects.
- Contribute to hydraulic and hydrologic analyses
- Assist with project management tasks, including cost estimating, scheduling, and coordinating with clients and project teams.
- Participate in field investigations and site visits.
- Support permit writing activities.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering with a focus in water resources engineering
- EIT certification preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD required; Proficiency with Civil 3D preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills; working knowledge of MS Office programs
- Experience with ERSI ArcMap a plus
