Description
The Enclosure Production Assistant is the foundation of the EarthQuaker Devices team. As a special effects pedal manufacturer, our business begins and ends with the products that we build, therefore the work of the Enclosure Production Assistant is essential to the company’s success and growth. Enclosure Production Assistants assist in the production of enclosures, management of inventory, and shipment of products through use of all related machinery and software.

Requirements
- Quality control throughout the build process in adherence to company standards and practices.
- Safe operation of company tools according to training standards. Careful use of company materials.
- Production of enclosures through use of CNC machinery, press drills, UV printers, and powder coating machines.
- Receive and stock all incoming shipments, maintain an orderly inventory back stock, and ensure proper usage of all related inventory software.
- Properly pack and ship enclosures out to vendor.
- Achievement of goals set by the Enclosure Production Manager and Production Leads to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within small groups.
- Adaptability and ability throughout the workday to multi-task and balance a variety of duties while still completing each task in a timely manner and according to company standards.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance services on equipment as necessary. Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect and repair defects.
- Professional attitude in all artist/dealer/vendor/public relations.
- Discretion regarding all new products in development, production techniques and anything else that could be considered guarded information about the products or methods employed at EarthQuaker Devices.
- Intermediate understanding of parts uses and the ability to act as a resource to other production members regarding the technical specifics of the products.

Experience
- Must maintain a current valid state driver’s license.
- Production or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Prior knowledge of brand and products a plus.
- Must be able to maintain a stationary position for entirety of shift, excluding breaks.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet.
- Comfortable with working in high temperatures.
- Wear PPE for 8 hours, excluding breaks.
- 1-2 years experience in a machine shop or powder coating shop, and should be comfortable with operating various machinery.
- Familiar with safe operation and practices.
- Ability to learn to new systems.
- Experience with using computers, ability to learn new programs to operate machines, track job duration, and hours worked.
- Experience with UV printing or other printing techniques or machines a plus.
