Location: Phoenix, AZ (Gilbert, AZ)
Salary: $90 to $110K

Position Overview: Loenbro is looking for an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Program Manager to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive employee relations experience, preferably within the construction industry. In this role, you will manage complex employee relations issues, ensure compliance with labor laws, and help foster a positive workplace culture. This position is also responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs and strategies that promote positive employee relations. Must be able to pass company pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.

This position is also responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs and strategies that promote positive employee relations. Job Duties
- Develop and oversee employee relations programs and initiatives to support a positive workplace environment.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Conduct thorough investigations of employee complaints, workplace issues, and policy violations.
- Guide management on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including labor regulations specific to the construction industry.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote fair and consistent treatment of employees.
- Collaborate with managers and HR partners to address and resolve workplace issues while maintaining a balanced approach to employee and organizational needs.
- Facilitate training for managers and employees on conflict resolution, workplace harassment, and other employee relations topics.
- Partner with HR leadership to identify trends and recommend proactive strategies for improving employee engagement and retention.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and trends, particularly those affecting the construction industry.
- Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive strategies.
- Regularly review and update employee policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Partner with legal counsel and HR leadership to address complex employee relations matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and the flexibility to travel with less than 24 hour notice periodically.
- Minimum of 5 years of employee relations experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, with a strong preference for experience in the construction industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing conflict resolution.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgment in decision-making.
- Must have computer skills.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is highly desirable.
