Job Overview
We are seeking an Employee Relations Partner to support our West region employees in our Consumer organization. In this role, you are responsible for coaching and advising on employee concerns to mitigate business disruption and improve employee experiences. The ER Partner provides advice, support, and guidance for employees through vulnerable experiences while cultivating an inclusive culture. In partnership with the appropriate support resources, responds to employee concerns and supports employees and managers through an end-to-end Employee Relations process. Ensure case & investigations workflow is standardized, consistent and measured to so all involved parties receive equitable treatment. This role will also ensure employees & managers are empowered to proactively avoid common workplace issues and are prepared to respond effectively in potential high-risk situations.

Base Pay Range: $79,300 - $143,100
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. - This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in one of our major corporate offices in the West Region.
- Provide expert and objective advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on HR policy and procedures, PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) review, separations, employment/labor laws and conflict resolution to promote a fair and equitable work environment
- Effectively manage case database, including reporting and tracking support of ER cases (PIPs, investigations, etc.). Compile and analyze data and provide guidance on trends and mitigation plans
- Create and implement Employee Relations strategy and partner management
- Respond and advise on employee and leader concerns regarding performance, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, employee safety, etc.
- Maintain compliance of all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies, investigations, training, and actions. Maintain current and complete understanding of Federal and State employment laws such as (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, sexual harassment, and NLRA). Protect the company’s interests by ensuring all legal requirements are met and aligned with through proactive practices, investigations, and actions. Interpret and administer policies fairly and consistently within legal boundaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; 4–7 years of progressive experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related function, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex employee issues and workplace investigations.
- Significant experience conducting sensitive workplace investigations, including handling confidential information, fact-finding, interviewing, and documentation.
- Strong consultation skills with the ability to advise and coach leaders and employees on HR standard processes, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Proven experience providing effective coaching to employees and leaders to improve workplace performance and support professional development.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, especially when navigating complex, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations matters.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects or cases simultaneously, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to protect the organization and promote a positive work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, NLRA) and ability to apply them in practical workplace scenarios.
- High ethical standards with a commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and fair treatment of all employees.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or similar HR certification.
