Responsible for accurately processing financial transactions and being an effective source of information for our members: by telephone and electronically. Provides friendly, professional, confidential, and effective assistance to members and company associates assuring a positive experience and minimizing wait time.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Perform functions for members to assure member's needs are addressed in a polite and friendly manner. Addresses inquiries on accounts, transfers funds, issues stop payments, closes and orders debit cards, resets debit card pin numbers, provides balances, processes payments and other requests. Monitor, review, and facilitate electronic transactions for members through multiple channel admin sites including, but not limited to: CU Wallet, Funds Transfer, Peer-to-Peer Payments, Remote Deposit Capture, Home Banking, Bill Pay and online payments.
Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings and borrowing members: posts transactions and pays out funds as requested. Confirm intended transactions with members to assure needs are met and minimize redoing.
Answer incoming calls and determine the needs of the caller and verify the caller's identity, then determine if you can provide direct assistance or that you will connect the caller with the appropriate resource to address their need, minimizing the caller's time and effort in resolving their concern. Research, troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.
Stay abreast of all policy changes, familiarizes self with location of policies and procedures and follows the policies and procedures appropriate for each situation.
Identify products/services that might be beneficial to member and provide them with information about the products/services and how they would provide value and encourage them to upgrade their relationship with the credit union. Cross-sell online services and assist members in setting up online enrollment and understanding our online process.
Ensure compliance with all provisions of the following: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA); Security Procedures; Robbery and Holdup Procedures; all applicable governmental regulations; policies and procedures of Magnolia Federal Credit Union; privacy issues and requirements; and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).
Demonstrate efficient attendance with little to no "occurrences".
Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional image. Display a positive outlook and behavior toward members and co-workers.
Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
