Job Summary:

The Environmental Services (EVS) Staff Member will be expected to provide a clean and safe environment at all times while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards and departmental policies as listed, but not limited to this job description. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the surgical area.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of EVS/Housekeeping experience is required. A minimum of 6 months previous OR support experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Requires the ability to read, write, or understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping duties.
