Description

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $160,000

As the Director of Talent Management, you will lead organization-wide initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will design and implement comprehensive talent strategies that align with business goals while driving succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement across global operations. *This position is hybrid with the expectation to go into our Bloomington, IL office multiple times a week.*

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a talent management strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee succession planning, performance management, and employee lifecycle programs, including surveys and feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as a strategic talent partner to senior leaders, providing expert consultation on workforce retention, internal promotions, and leadership development.
  • Lead the continuous improvement and execution of talent review processes, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and team-building efforts.
  • Collaboration with the Talent Management COE in optimizing the performance management system, including job descriptions, performance standards, and evaluation tools.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives related to talent programs, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.
  • Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover rates, talent gaps, and organizational effectiveness, leveraging data insights to drive improvement.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new leaders, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to employees and leaders on career development and learning opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Director of Talent, Talent Partner, Strategic HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Familiarity with relevant HR software and technology capabilities for enabling Talent Management processes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Incumbent works in a temperature-controlled office environment. Incumbent sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
