Position Description:

This position is responsible for developing and managing product solutions for the Ameritas Retirement Plans Division. The role will examine market viability and positioning, revenue opportunities and operational gains as part of the product lifecycle. The position is responsible for developing new third-party partnerships for product delivery and maintaining existing relationships.

Position Location:

This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence.

What you do:

  • Manage the full product development lifecycle for retirement plan area from discovery through implementation.
  • Guide distribution management with product positioning and placement to ensure profitability and success in meeting goals and plans.
  • Partner across distribution, marketing, operations, compliance and legal to promote effective execution of product initiatives.
  • Acting as a product manager, maintain and leverage existing product relationships including ongoing evaluation of effectiveness and utility.
  • Build and cultivate internal and external relationships to promote and grow the retirement plans line of business.
  • Direct and influences associate and business resources to achieve business results.
  • Build strategies around the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 7-10 years of related retirement plan industry experience required.
  • Relevant retirement plan industry designations desired.
