Job Title: Director of Trend Management

Location: Houston or Nashville

Type: Full-time

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Director of Trend Management to lead our dynamic team of talent managers. In this role, you'll oversee a large, multi-layered team—including Senior Managers, Talent Managers, and Coordinators—and be accountable for driving both operational excellence and a strong, values-led team culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader who knows how to scale teams, implement clear and effective processes, and inspire high performance. You’ll lead by example, championing professional growth, accountability, and collaboration. You’ll also build trusted relationships with top creator clients, navigating both exciting opportunities and difficult conversations with confidence and care.

If you lead with clarity, motivate through purpose, and believe culture is a competitive advantage—this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a large team including multiple direct reports at the senior manager level.
  • Drive a strong, positive team culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Coach, develop, and support team members to hit both performance and personal development goals.
  • Set clear team structures, communication flows, and KPIs to ensure efficient, scalable operations.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance on creator careers and brand partnerships —leveraging data, trends, and cultural insights to identify how to uplevel our service offerings.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leadership to contribute to company-wide strategy and long-term vision.
  • Be a cultural leader: rallying the team around milestones, keeping morale high, and ensuring we love the work we do.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and pioneer process improvements across the team—leveraging feedback, data, and best practices to iterate and evolve our ways of working.
  • Own the development, documentation, and optimization of team processes and workflows to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency at scale.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that streamline execution, support cross-functional collaboration, and enable sustainable growth.

Who You Are

  • A natural leader and people-first manager, with proven experience leading large teams (including managing managers).
  • 7+ years in marketing, influencer, or creator-related industries, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of both influencer marketing and brand marketing strategy.
  • Excellent communicator with clients and internal team members with a talent for delivering feedback, leading change, and motivating teams.
  • Operationally strong—you know how to scale people, process, and priorities without sacrificing creativity or culture.
  • Passionate about the creator economy, digital trends, and helping people grow.
  • Highly organized with a systems-thinking mindset; you thrive on designing repeatable, efficient workflows and bringing clarity to complexity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a fast-growing startup or agency environment
  • Familiarity with influencer platforms, affiliate tools, or creator marketplaces
  • Background in coaching, org design, or performance development programs
