DeRomo’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant, a premier culinary and retail destination in Bonita Springs, is looking for a dynamic, fearless, and results-driven Director of Operations to take the helm of our Restaurant, Market, and Center Bar.

What You’ll Do

• The Director of Operations is responsible for maintaining excellent team member, owner, Management Company, and guest communication and relations.
• Lead and own the daily operations of DeRomo’s Restaurant, Market & Center Bar to ensure seamless execution.
• Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing, promotions, and operational efficiencies.
• Take full P&L ownership, forecasting, and budgeting with a meticulous focus on financial optimization.
• Build and mentor elite, high-performance teams that embody a culture of accountability, innovation, and guest-first service.
• Streamline operations by identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and embracing automation and technology.
• Develop and execute cutting-edge guest experience strategies to drive loyalty and market dominance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring every aspect of operations meets and exceeds industry standards.
• Spearhead cross-functional collaboration between departments to ensure efficiency, teamwork, and synergy.
• Establish and enforce top-tier compliance standards in safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• The Director of Operations is responsible for maintaining excellent team member, owner, Management Company, and guest communication and relations.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 12-15 years of upscale food service experience, including 10 years in executive-level management and 4 years leading multi-unit operations.
• A strategic, process-driven thinker with an owner’s mentality—you treat the business like it’s your own.
• A revenue-generating mindset with proven experience in increasing profitability while maintaining guest excellence.
• A world-class motivator and mentor who develops strong, engaged, and high-performing teams.
• Masterful financial acumen—able to analyze data, forecast trends, and optimize budgets for maximum efficiency.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ)—you lead with influence, resolve conflicts with finesse, and build trust at every level.
• An unstoppable problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
• Expert knowledge of industry technology, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and operational analytics tools.

Physical & Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move dynamically for extended periods.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and handling various operational tasks.
• Strong manual dexterity, visual acuity, and auditory awareness to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal communication skills to effectively convey instructions and interact with team members and guests.
• Strong vision and peripheral awareness to oversee operations and ensure a safe, efficient environment.
• Exposure to smoke and steam as part of restaurant and market operations.
• Handling of fresh and raw products, including food preparation materials.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
