Summary
The Director of IT is responsible for leading the IT department, overseeing enterprise-wide technology initiatives, and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of IT systems. This position involves strategic planning, managing IT infrastructure, developing and implementing cloud strategies, ensuring cybersecurity protocols, and aligning IT capabilities with business objectives. The Director of IT will manage the IT managers across various disciplines and ensure that IT projects and operations are in line with AlloSource's goals. This role will also drive continuous improvements in data governance, IT compliance, and service management.
Anticipated Application Deadline October 30, 2024 (100PM MST)
Pay $115,147/yr - $145,719 based upon relevant years of experience
Shift Monday-Friday 800am to 500pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision Provide leadership in developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Infrastructure Management Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability to support business needs.
- Enterprise Application & System Development Manage the development and implementation of enterprise applications and systems to optimize business operations.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance Lead cybersecurity efforts to safeguard IT assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain adherence to frameworks like NIST and SOC2.
- IT Project Management Oversee and coordinate IT-specific projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and software implementations, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Data Governance & Integration Establish and maintain robust IT data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, availability, and security across all systems. Oversee data integration from various sources, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives while enabling effective data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
- IT Service Management (ITIL) Ensure IT services are delivered efficiently, meeting business needs while adhering to ITIL principles.
- Budgeting & Cost Management Oversee IT budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively to meet organizational needs.
- Compliance with Regulatory Standards Ensure IT operations comply with FDA, CGTP, OSHA, and AATB standards, and all relevant industry regulations.
- Cloud Computing & IT Modernization Lead and manage cloud initiatives utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or hybrid solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and fully aligned with business objectives. Oversee the migration, optimization, and modernization of IT infrastructure to the cloud, focusing on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing system performance while ensuring business continuity and data security.
- Talent Development & Team Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, ensuring IT managers across business intelligence, master data management, software compliance, and security align with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration Communicate IT strategies and updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Network Architecture Proficiency in network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and network security.
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and other modern development methodologies.
- Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.
- May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- 10 years of progressive IT management experience, with a focus on enterprise application management, systems development, and cloud computing
- 5-7 years of management experience
- Demonstrated success in implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals
- Experience managing IT projects, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Experience working within regulated industries, ensuring IT compliance with relevant standards (FDA, CGTP, AATB)
- IT leadership experience in regulated industries with familiarity with IT compliance (SOC2, NIST)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension)
- Master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration (MBA), or related field
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean IT Certification
- 5-7 years of experience in data governance, cybersecurity management, and cloud-based IT environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with ERP systems like Epicor
- Experience with advanced IT frameworks
- Direct experience with FDA compliance, including 21 CFR Part 11
