- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure and operations.
- Drive innovation and identify opportunities for technology improvements by working closely with leadership, business units, and other identified key stakeholders.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage IT budgets and optimize spending.
- Establish, monitor and analyze technology performance metrics.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems.
- Implement and manage IT governance frameworks.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective communication between IT and other departments.
- Manage IT risk and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles.
- Strong track record of developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of current technology trends, including cloud computing, AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a focus on talent development and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
- Experience working in a high growth company requiring adaptability to technological changes, department strategy, and evolving industry standards highly desirable.
- Ability and willingness to “get the job done”, allowing for flexible and extended hours, depending upon the project and/or business needs
- Office environment (does own documentation and interacts directly with others in virtually all situations)
- Travel: Specific to position ex) will be minimal (primarily attending conferences and trainings)
