DESCRIPTION

As the world of learning and technology continues to evolve, AWS Training and Certification needs a Content Services Leader who is creative in developing effective, global learning solutions that leverage the latest AWS technologies and the emerging power of agentic AI. We are looking for a leader skilled in agentic learning solutions, disciplined execution, systems thinking, and talent development—with a strong vision for keeping content as our competitive edge. This role will push the boundaries of how we design, build, and scale learning experiences by embedding AI-driven workflows and autonomous agents into every phase of content creation and learner interaction.

In this role, you will drive the strategic vision and roadmap for content services, integrating autonomous, AI-powered capabilities that scale globally. You will create a culture of innovation, serving as a thought leader in instructional design, AI-enhanced learning, and agent-based content development. You will collaborate across AWS with engineering, product, subject matter experts, localization, data science, and AI/ML teams to support AWS growth initiatives and integrate innovative technologies into learning design.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for content services for AWS Training and Certification, with a focus on integrating autonomous, AI-powered capabilities that scale globally
  • Lead the creation and adoption of agentic content workflows, including AI agents that support curriculum blueprinting, SME interviews, content drafting, rapid iteration, autonomous QA for content accuracy, and AI copilots to enhance authoring productivity
  • Deliver creative, learner-centered training programs across multiple modalities including synchronous virtual training, blended learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, learning labs, game environments, and AI-adaptive experiences that personalize learning in real time
  • Establish governance and standards for responsible AI use in learning content, ensuring trust, safety, security, and compliance across global deployments
  • Develop talent and upskill the organization, enabling teams to adopt AI-first methodologies and agentic capabilities across the content lifecycle


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of professional experience in learning and development, instructional design, or content strategy
  • 5+ years experience in managing agile software projects across multiple and geographically distributed teams
  • 10+ years experience leading content development teams in a technology or cloud computing environment
  • 5+ years experience managing managers and building high-performing organizations
  • Experience developing and executing strategic roadmaps for content services at scale
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application to learning and content development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field
  • Experience implementing agentic AI solutions, generative AI, or autonomous systems in content creation workflows
  • Experience designing training evaluation frameworks and learning analytics that measure behavioral, skills, and business impact
  • Experience leading global, distributed teams and managing content localization at scale
  • Knowledge of AWS services and demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to integrate emerging technologies into learning solutions
  • Expertise engaging with customers and partners across all levels of leadership, as well as with services and sales stakeholders to manage expectations and facilitate content as a solution for workforce transformation needs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $237,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
