Position Summary:
The marketing director will lead the successful development and execution of the company's brand marketing strategies and tactics across all functions. This role aims to enhance brand awareness while improving profitability and sales effectiveness.

Position Summary:
The marketing director will lead the successful development and execution of the company's brand marketing strategies and tactics across all functions. This role aims to enhance brand awareness while improving profitability and sales effectiveness.
Key responsibilities will include leading department functions across retail, foodservice, and Ecommerce channels in the following areas:
- Brand building and positioning strategies
- Creative development
- Digital marketing and management of brand-specific websites
- Agency Management
- Set the direction and goals for the marketing team, collaborating across functions to build our brands and deliver compelling value propositions. This includes creating integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate brand messaging to drive awareness and engagement, focusing on 1, 3, and 5-year plans.
- Understand channel and category dynamics to enhance brand equity and ensure growth across all channels, including foodservice, retail, and specialty. This involves directing strategies to create relevance across various regions, channels, and segments.
- Develop immediate solutions to achieve financial objectives.
- Analyze brand P&Ls and pricing strategies to drive brand profitability.
- Lead business development planning and execution in partnership with senior leaders.
- Oversee ongoing consumer, customer, category, channel, and competitive reviews to assess brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Direct volume forecasting and provide financial updates by monitoring key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6Ps). Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.
- Lead brand teams in shaping directions and tactics for effective brand strategies, measuring ROI and making adjustments as needed.
- Challenge and inspire team members to achieve business results.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and lead decisions regarding new product initiatives across all channels.
- Develop and direct product innovation efforts, collaborating with R&D, Purchasing, and Operations from concept to commercialization.
- Degree in Marketing required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience leading brand teams for a CPG company.
- At least 15 years of experience in product or brand management, including the development of brand strategies from concept to implementation.
- Strong skills in sales collaboration, business development, and budget/P&L management, particularly regarding pricing initiatives.
- Experience in launching new products and developing brands is essential.
- Preference for candidates with experience in both retail and foodservice sectors.
- Proven leadership abilities, including planning and execution, business management, product and solutions development, people development, and team-building skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence various stakeholders, including leaders in Sales, Operations, and R&D.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on in daily operations.
- Effective project management skills in a cross-functional environment are required.
