Position Summary
The Director of Communications directly manages internal communications and plays a leadership role in developing and executing strategic external communications programs. The position collaborates closely with leadership, HR, divisional marketing teams, and other departments to develop and execute multichannel communications programs that support business objectives.

Base Pay Range: $147,500.00 - $187,000.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

The Director of Communications directly manages internal communications and plays a leadership role in developing and executing strategic external communications programs. The position collaborates closely with leadership, HR, divisional marketing teams, and other departments to develop and execute multichannel communications programs that support business objectives.
Job Duties
- Partner with corporate groups and business divisions to develop and execute strategic communication campaigns.
- Lead the development of internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
- Manage a team of internal communications professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance on communication best practices.
- Develop and manage multi-channel digital and social media communications programs.
- Management of all Company-wide internal communication tools, including IrvineConnect (intranet platform), Poppulo (email campaign management system)
- Support executive teams with leadership communication.
- Ensure consistent and clear communication across all levels of the organization, maintaining a unified voice and tone.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, including internal communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in executive communications, and media relations.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive strategic initiatives.
