Job Purpose
This role drives prioritization, enablement, deployment, and use of critical digital products/services and technology within the North America region, with a strong emphasis on business partnering with Consumer Market Insights, and Marketing/Media. You will serve as a trusted advisor to these critical functions, aligning their business goals with digital solutions and technology that drive Unilever’s growth. Collaborating with Global Product teams, you will ensure technology products are tailored to the North American market and deliver value across all Business Units—Foods, Personal Care, Beauty & Wellness, and Home Care.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive forward the technology (digital product) needs for Consumer Market Insights, and Marketing/Media teams in North America by aligning to their goals and daily operations. For these teams, oversee North America technology requirements gathering and validation
- Bring teams and stakeholders together to prioritize, build, deploy, and measure benefits from critical technology. Define scope, goals, and timelines with stakeholders.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to gather input and communicate progress.
- Represent North America technology needs in global product planning, ensuring local requirements and features are addressed. Collaborate with global product teams or third-party vendors on product builds.
- Manage technology vendor relationships if needed
- Advocate for user-centric design, continuous improvement, and successful change management to maximize business value and ensure digital product adoption
- A great communicator - able partner closely with senior stakeholders who may be in different functions than your own
- User centric and empathetic – you deeply understand the needs of (internal) users
- Proactive and independent - you can identify what needs to be done and lead cross-functionally to make it happen
- Strategic - thinking 3 steps ahead. Able to think critically, logically, and with good judgement
- A curious person who likes to learn about what makes a business run as well as new technology. A fast learner
- Someone who is accountable and drives projects forward - you keep people organized and on track
- A business-minded technologist or a technology-minded business person. You appreciate that technology needs to drive business growth
- Interested in the FMCG space
- A team player
- Experience in management consulting, product management, or technology strategy/deployment
- Digital expertise – experience with digital (e.g. Data, AI, systems) projects / products / programs. Experience with analytics/insight products
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and executive level communications
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. High emotional intelligence
- Track record of developing exceptional talent and teams
- Masters degree in business, computer science, math or related field
- Experience in FMCG, CPG, retail
- Knowledge of agile
