The afternoon hours are dedicated to life skills development, personal enrichment, and substantive projects. This represents more than an alternative educational approach. Your role is central to this mission. You'll direct the complete admissions cycle for either our Dallas or San Francisco location, exercising full ownership of your enrollment pipeline. No bureaucratic layers. No process handoffs. No unnecessary complexity. You'll convert interest into enrollment through rapid engagement, transparent outcome presentation, compelling campus experiences, and discerning candidate evaluation. You'll be the deciding factor when families commit to an institution that defies every conventional expectation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Engaging with new inquiries within 4 hours using tailored, precise communication that avoids generic templating.
  • Conducting campus tours and informational sessions that articulate how and why our model accelerates learning, and for whom it's designed.
  • Managing the entire admissions process, encompassing applications, shadow day experiences, enrollment conversations, and family onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date CRM and student information system records for weekly performance review, particularly within HubSpot.
  • Iterating on admissions materials, standard operating procedures, and frequently asked questions informed by live parent feedback and conversion metrics.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Supervising staff. This is intentionally structured as an individual contributor position.
  • Operating within bureaucratic constraints. We function at startup velocity, not traditional institutional timelines.
  • Attempting to enroll every prospect. This model serves specific families, and your role includes selecting the appropriate fit.
  • Defending our differentiation. Our performance data outweighs conventional expectations.
  • Working remotely. This is a fully in-person, campus-based role with occasional off-site community engagement.

Dean Of Enrollment Key Responsibilities

Command and enhance the admissions journey to convert qualified prospects into enrolled students. Build a high-conversion, strategically selective pipeline that embodies the precision and results inherent to the 2 Hour Learning model.

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years managing full-cycle admissions at a selective, tuition-based academic institution
  • Documented track record in directing competitive enrollment processes from initial inquiry through final commitment
  • Superior communication capabilities across written, presentation, and interpersonal formats
  • Ease and credibility when working with affluent families and sophisticated decision-makers
  • Disciplined operational approach, including CRM expertise (particularly HubSpot), calendar management, and precision in execution
  • Currently based in or prepared to relocate to Dallas or San Francisco
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background in top-tier K–12 independent schools or selective college admissions
  • Track record facilitating high-engagement, conversion-focused events
  • Proficiency with analytics, performance metrics, and evidence-based strategy
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled or mastery-based educational frameworks

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
