Short Description

  • Locate and Merge potential duplicate patient registrations.
  • Use the Duplicate Patients Report to locate system-found potential duplicate patients.
  • Use the Identity Events Report to review merges and merge statuses.
  • Resolves Potential Duplicates by not merging.
  • Use Identity Manager to review and/or edit a patient’s current and historical known nonduplicates. (KNDS)
  • Use Patient Contact Mover to transfer contacts and encounter level data from one patient record to another.
  • Use the Overlay Resolution Report after a contact move to follow up on data that requires manual review.
  • Use Tasks Activity to assign tasks to other user through the in-basket, monitor outstanding tasks and review completed tasks.
  • Work various folders in Perceptive. Corrects documents that need to be deleted, were assigned to the incorrect patient, were assigned to the incorrect encounter or were assigned the incorrect document type.
  • Performs all related duties or special projects as assigned and required.

Experience Required

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health Information Management is required. Demonstrates organization, facilitation, and communication skills. Must be able to work independently and make decisions. Experience with Epic is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task is required.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
